US Solar Development, Inc was founded in 2017, with the goal of providing commercial solar expertise across the Mid-Atlantic Region. We work with businesses, architects, and our partners to provide solutions in all phases of the development cycle including financing, engineering, permitting, utility interconnection, construction, and operations & maintenance. Our portfolio is heavily weighted in commercial rooftop solar applications, where roofing solutions were also provided. We are based in Pennsylvania, and additionally develop and build projects in New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, and Washington DC.
Dylan Kautz is a NABCEP certified PV installation professional, with tenure in commercial solar development and installation dating back to 2009. Prior to entering the solar space, he had a background in commercial roofing in PA, and commercial construction in Washington, DC. He founded one of PA’s largest and longest-tenured solar companies, KC Green Energy, where he still serves as director of commercial development. He offers a rare skillset of development, financing, and solar construction knowledge that is invaluable to his partners and customers.
